Cutler and Bradford haven't won anything, can't stay healthy, had a backup play as well/better than them

Cutler is older and his backup was better so Cutler 1, Bradford 2. Bradford still has a chance to be good but I'm not holding my breath.

Let me know how McCown fares at the end of this season in TB.

McCown played great, but Cutler was playing good ball before going down too. He's missed 13 games in his entire career, 6 of which came on a freak broken thumb.

Kid is judged entirely by his personality.

He has some INT problems..problems that come with being a gunslinger, having a terrible o-line and WR group for many of those years.

This will be the first season he's had the same OC two years in a row in his whole career and under Trestman he has already shown vast improvements.

If he stinks it up this year, I'm off the bandwagon, but with the talent finally around him, he was playing great before going down last year, and I expect big things from him and the O this year.

Cutler and certainly Bradford have had depth issues and oline issues on their team's offense. I do think they both need another year before we judge em.

He had a good line and wide receivers in Denver and yet he still threw 18 picks in 2008.

That's not true. He had the same offensive coordinator all 3 years in Denver.

Options:
Colin Kaepernick: 6 years $126m ($21m per year) $61m guaranteed.
Joe Flacco: 6 years $120.6m ($20.1m per year) $29m guaranteed.
Jay Cutler: 7 years $126.7m ($18.1m per year) $38m guaranteed.
Tony Romo: 6 years $108m ($18m per year) $40m guaranteed.
Eli Manning: 6 years $97.5m ($16.25m per year) $35m guaranteed.
Sam Bradford: 6 years $78m ($13m per year) $50m guaranteed. (Rookie contract)

Feel free to mention anyone else.

Kopatrick is just another Mike Vick with less talent and a better team around him...That's all that keeps him competitive..IMO
But second is Matt Ryan in my book and although he is a better qb than Krappy is, he is less successful....1 playoff win in 6 yrs, and in the 120 mil club ?????
Then their's Jay (I don't care) Cutler that has never won a playoff game and only been in 1 or 2.....
It's all about the hype, people.....If you're dumb enough to buy it, the nfl will sell you the air in the stadium every sunday.....

Forgive me, i meant to say since coming to Chicago...plus he went to the pro bowl his third year in denver so im not sure if thats the best example.

But whatevs...i like the kid. I knew id get shit for it, but outta the list above, i stand by my aforementioned choice.

Tony Romo has only won a single playoff game and three first round losses in his career. Now, he can't even make the playoffs because he soils himself during the month of December. Anyone making over $100 million with that track record is the most worthless and over-paid quarterback to this date.

Everyone wants to bag on Cutty, but homer aside, I'd take him over every QB on that list.

Let the barrage of stupidity ensue...

No need to now, you just unloaded a boat load of it !!!!!!
Sorry dude, but that is a horrendous statement....:L

Cutlers skillset is as good or better than any on that list. INTs are not all on the Qb ya know? How many picks did Eli have last year again.

Haters are going hate. I was wondering how long it would be before someone brought up Wilson and the Seahawks.

Whatever Christian Ponder is making is way more than he should be, he should be paid hourly!

The first post I wasn't the first. And if I was an NFL GM I would not pay RW the type of money he will get. If Kap is getting about 22 mil a year and over 60 mil guarenteed what do you think RW will end up getting about 25 a year maybe 70-80 mil guarenteed. That is way to much for someone not named Brady or Rodgers or Joe Montana.

That's easy to say from the cheap seats. If you let any franchise QB walk you will probably be fired within 2 seasons and your team wont get another shot at a franchise guy for decades. There is reason why they get paid so much, it's called leverage. And Kaep's contract numbers shouldn't be the benchmark for anything, it's the QB equivalent of Revis's contract in TB.

Wilson is the prefect QB for the Seahawks and will be worth every penny he gets. Just keep watching my man, you'll soon learn I'm right.

broncosmitty did earlier.

RW has only maintained a RAT avg of 100 and 26 TDs per season since entering the NFL and now has a SB ring. Craperdick has a RAT avg of 75 since playing in the NFL. How is that setup to being most overpaid in the NFL if he gets a similar contract to Craperdick?

Except with the defense you have that is why you are winning. You could have any fairly capable QB in there and won the Super Bowl. Players like to one up each other so it wouldn't be surprising for Wilson to try and beat Kaps contract numbers, or to try and become the highest paid QB.
