You realize those contract numbers mean very little to the actual value of the contract right?

Kaepernick's deal really is 7 years, 126 M. As an extension, not a new contract, this year counts (the signing bonus was said to apply this year).

The numbers posted by different sites seem to be conflicting. NFL.com said 6 years $126m, but ESPN said 6 years $110m+.

It's a tough call because there are different scenarios to this. Fredo Flacco did help get them a Lombardi and his performance against Denver in the AFC champ game and SB was all you could ask for. Overpaid, absolutely. The worst on that list. Mmmmmmmm.....

Craperdick has them in the playoffs twice. Not bad, even if their D does a lot of the heavy lifting.

Cutler is a proven INT machine so of those choices, I say he's the most overpaid given his history.

Romo.....meh. But when Jerrah is your GM for life, the odds are stacked against any QB.

Eli got them a ring and the Giants have kind of floundered lately without it being much of his fault.

Bradford? The Rams have never given him the proper tools to succeed. Their finally starting too, but it might be too late for him like Alex Smith. I could see a scenario of them trading him like SF did Smith at the end of this year, but it's a tough call since this was the last year of the ass raping of draft picks they got from Redskins. Next year, they will be faced with some tough choices about QB.

The guy who will earn about 5% of what Cap will in 2014?

The guy who isn't even the top paid QB on his own team? Russell Wilson is the third-highest paid quarterback on the Seattle Seahawks | For The Win

What a stupid comment. Since when has pay been a direct indication of talent? You need only look at the list from the OP to see examples of overpaid QBs. Haynesworth got paid millions to become a lazy PoS. The examples of over pay in the NFL are limitless.

Stafford deserves to be on this list.(gotta give the guy credit when credit is deserved) But Im voting Bradford. Shaun Hill should be starting for them by October. The others are all atleast easily the best QB on their roster. Now that McCown has left for Tampa anyway. (This CK deal makes no sense to me. He won't be fast much longer.)

Bradford at $50M less than Kaeptain Kaengeroo? Hell, I'd still vote Kaeptain Kaengeroo as the most overpaid even if it was even money.

Sam Bradford > Kaeptain Kaengeroo

But..... but....Colin is a man, is a man, is a ma-an. And he's tan, and he's tan, and ta-an. Yes he am, yes he am, yes he a-am. (What spurred his huge contract on? That he PROBABLY is not a rapist? Its not like its hard to find QBs that can win with Great defenses and solid running games. The ghey munchkin in the photo with Lombardi up there proves that.)

Truthfully, it's probably Bradford, but I disqualified him because he was on the old rookie pay scale and the Rams didn't really have a choice. I also eliminated Flacco and Eli, because they've both won the Super Bowl. Kaepernick has started for 2 seasons and has been to the Super Bowl and NFC Championship, so I eliminated him, too.

That leaves Cutler and Romo. I think the case could be made for either, but if I absolutely had to pick, I'd rather have Romo and his contract then Cutler and his contract. So Cutler the interception machine is the most overpaid qb in the NFL.

I didn't disqualify that as a qualifier. That's why I chose Bradford.

People get too hung up on these contracts. They are never as black and white as reported. They are riddled with incentives and stipulations. And they are NEVER guaranteed word for word as reported. I hate that they report them the way they do.

Cutler's is a prime example...it ostensibly works out to actually be a 3 year contract averaging at 17 million a year.

Everyone wants to bag on Cutty, but homer aside, I'd take him over every QB on that list.

Let the barrage of stupidity ensue...
