Seems Brady is getting the most votes because he has the most rings. But Eli owned him twice in the only thing that matters so therefore Eli is the best ever.

Funny, I watched both of those games start to finish and I cannot remember Eli playing one snap on defense.

Aaron Rodgers is easily the best all time statistically.
I'll take 4-0 and 11-0 in Super Bowls. Montana is undefeated and never threw an int in the big game.
I'm going to do a breakdown of this later when I get time using stats and playoff performance

Rodgers has close to 4 to 1 tds to ints and the highest QB rating in history.
Montana was easily the best in Super Bowls.

He was defeated before he got to the Superbowl.
Better to win the conference championship and lose in the Superbowl than it is to lose the conference...or before.

Belichick never brought in another QB to push Brady to be his best like Walsh did with Steve Young.
Brady pushes himself.
Montana was a slacker.

You do realize the 5 yard no contact rule was enforced in 2005?
Rodgers started in the league full time in 2008, the year Brady was injured so I have the stats for all the games for Rodgers since 08 and Brady since 07 to keep it comparable, only regular season games and not playoffs.

Rodgers 135 games 297 tds 72 int 4.125 td/int ratio 36523 yards 266.6 ypg
Brady 140 games 309 tds 74 int 4.175 td/int ratio 39942 yards 285.3 ypg

Good detective work. Of course Montana played in a much more physical era for both receivers and QBs.

No doubt but the conv was about the modern day stats, can't compare today's QB ratings or qb/int ratio to the yesterday ones., and yes they were way more physical back then, now they protect the QB. You have been watching football a long time or a lot of tapes of old games because of your posts, and I wasn't directing anything towards Montana who had I had as the Goat for almost 30 years. I also think the teams back then had an advantage with no free agency and no salary caps so team can dominate for pretty much a decade

Why is he easily the best all time statistically? Because he has the highest passer rating? Rodgers career passer rating is 21.9% higher than the league average over his career. Brady is 18.6% higher than league average over his career. Brady has done that over 3600 more pass attempts and 100 more starts than Rodgers. If Rodgers maintains that for his whole career, you can make an argument, but as of now, he has a long way to go.

And why is 4-0 better than 5-2? If the Pats had lost the AFC Championship in 2007 and 2011, that would make Brady a better QB? Montana may have never thrown a pick in the Super Bowl, but he did go 3 straight years of one-and-done, including getting benched in a playoff game.

4-0 is 100%, 5-2 is 71%...da.

Just Kidding.
A little.

Did Walsh trade for Young and intentionally create a QB controversy? Yes.
Did Joe need to have his job threatened...?
Who knows, I didn't think so back in the eighties, but I'm not Joe Walsh, another great coach with a great "system".

That was really the only Super Bowl Brady was great in.
He did get out played by the lesser Manning Brother in 2 of them.
doesnt he hold the record for most consecutive completions to begin a superbowl?

vs the giants?

And Rodgers is asked to do a lot more than a lot of greats throughout history, thanks to his annual dreadful defense, his annual invisible running game, inept coaching staff, etc.
