Colt got exposed vs Suh and company. It was clear they had no shot vs Bama whether they had Colt or not.

You're telling me that a guy who has the worst game of his career the game before the title was supposed to put the team on his back?


Guy got in the equivalent of 10 car wrecks a couple weeks prior to the title game. Doesn't suprise me he folded like a cheap suit the minute he realized he was gonna keep getting hit like that.

Texas's O-Line was basically bewildered going into that game as well.

suh was a beast for sure......but lets not forget colt and texas marched right down the field
on the 1st possession .....who knows what would have happened

but if fucking gilbert had us within what 3/6 points with about 6/5 minutes left i think colt could have pulled it off

Your blinded by the time, Bama was in dont embarrass Brown mode, like Saban does with Guys he respects. They turned it on when they needed to and beat you easily, it could have been a blowout. If you think otherwise you clearly have not seen what Saban does to coaches he doest like in BCS title games.

actually our defense went to shit when we lost colt....like they knew the game was over...not to mention garrets pick 6 right before half

but if you are trying to say that your defense let us score .......garret came out after halftime and hit some big passes after sucking balls in the 1st half

so bama wanted to wait until 2 minutes left to score the final 2 td's just to respect mack

For me off the top of my head I think of 3 teams
2002 Miami
2005 USC
2011 LSU-say what you want but they blew everyone out and only close games they played were against Bama.

Its Sabans M.O. with coaches he likes, watch the Alabama/ Penn State games that were played recently, he coasted to not embarrass JoPa and he was playing the same conservative game plan against Texas. i have been a bama fan my entire life and seen every game Saban has coached since he took the team over. This is what he does, ask almost any Bama fan and they will tell you he does not run up the score on coaches he respects. Did it get too close for comfort in that game, i wont lie, it was, but they pulled it out like i knew they would.

i will give you that they went conservative on offense....but our d was good that year...he was/could've been trying to protect the lead with a freshman qb in there

it would have been a very different game with colt...we can both agree on that

bama would have opened up the playbook and wouldnt have got to ride the d .....who knows how the realgame would have went
