Seattle has had some great RB's over time. Just imagine what Lynch's numbers could be if he had the lines that Warren and Alexander had.

NFL wouldn't allow it because of all the injuries that would be caused on opposing teams' secondaries. Roster would have to be expanded or Lynch would be forced to be traded to an inferior line.

Went with Dan McGwire. Mainly cause he was a first round pick that flamed out hard, and I had his pro line rookie card that was worth 3$ at the time.

That Offensive line that Warren was running behind was better than the one Lynch is running behind, Just saying. To this day i still remember watching Chris Warren getting 4 to 5 yards down field with out being touched as he ran through some truck sized holes.

I don't remember Warren's line being anything that special. I remember a revolving door of draft picks that didn't pan out (Ray Roberts, James Atkins), veteran plug ins (Howard Ballard, Ray Donaldson) and a couple decent linemen who left to have varying degrees of success (Kevin Mawae, Andy Heck). I looked back at the starting line from '92 til '97 just to make sure I was remembering correctly, and there are guys there I don't even remember. The line didn't start to solidify itself until Walter Jones, IMO, and his rookie year was Warren's last with Seattle.

The reason I did not select DM, was that Ken Behring forced the team to select McGuire. No way would we have taken him without that doushbag of a POS owner.

That's one way of looking at it. Another way to look at, is being a Ken Behring pick makes him a automatic worse pick ever at QB.

That line that Warren ran behind was light years better than what we have now. They were maulers ( what did you expect from Flores ( 92-94 ). I remember how they played like it was yesterday, and i think we all can agree that the eye test is always better than who sticks around on teams. One thing you can make sure of is no players during that time really wanted to stick with the Seahawks. People just did not want to play here so when their contract was up they left. that's what made The Tez so special. he was the best DT in the league and he knew it yet he stayed.

Now if they could have had a competent QB that team would have been much better. The QB's killed them. Well that and Ken Behring.

they would be better that's for sure but then we wouldn't have as many runs over the years that just make us shake our heads and say wow.

That's true! We all do love beast quake 1.0 and 2.0.

Ken Behring goes down as one of the worst owners ever in the NFL? I'd say he's probably top 3 easy.

I would say McGwire .... When you have defenses giving your QB a nickname like Big Bird because he's so easy to sack it's not a good thing... He was also the 16th overall pick in the 1st round... And sadly I heard Chuck Knox wanted the Seahawks to draft this guy named.... Brett Favre ... But of course he was over-ruled by an owner that didn't have a effin clue... Favre went in the 2nd round that year... I would say Mirer as second, although he had a decent rookie season he didn't nothing but regress .... For being the #2 pick overall and people comparing him to Joe Montana coming in... It was a disappointment ... Mirer had no ability to go through progressions... NONE ..
