Having recruiting rankings in the 20’s and 30’s is not getting top talent. No one is saying their recruiting isn’t improving, but it’s still not getting top end talent. Try and stay on topic here.
Tell that to Clemson. 3 of Dabo's first several recruiting classes were classes rated
#36, #27 & #20. Compare those to 3 of Nebraska's last couple classes
#23, #21 & #18. Or 3 of Wisconsin's maybe?
#35, #29 & #25.
Where do they stand in 2021 so far?
#6 UW, #8 Ia, #13 UMn, #19 Neb. That was a couple days ago.
Of course those are WAY too early rankings and will change. But they are apparently getting some early commits.
So you may not respect their talent level, but B1G West teams have never needed Top 10 or Top 20 recruiting classes to finish in the Top 10 or 20 as the B1G West has produced 45 Top 25 ranked teams since 1999. Wasn't the B1G West back then, but the 7 teams that make up the B1G West.
