You may see a mixture for the failure. Vote for the choice you hold most responsible.

Tell us why in the thread.

Literally everyone and their lack of communication.

This team won one playoff series and lost James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Steve Nash as coach and got what in return, Ben Simmons and fillers?

I would never blame potato salad.

Indirectly, I hold Durant responsible. Without his participation, it doesn't happen.

Nash was an inexperienced coach hoping to achieve the same results other inexperienced coaches got when they first started with multiple All-Stars on the team, like Steve Kerr and Ty Lue
I guess a person could place hiring Steve Nash in the hands of responsibility of the players, one of the players, or the Nets front office.

they should have won the championship the first year... there was injuries and other weirdness that let the bucks beat them...

If one player was to blame in the beginning it would be Harden...

But then Kyrie drama, man... you cant be so anti- Jew in new york.... did anyone find it funny that him and David Duke were on the same team??

The harden Trade last year was bad only because Simmons never played...

so really it was an entire clusterfuck...

Could be wrong here, but from a distance it seems the Nets front office was not able to see the lack of compatibility there would be between Harden, KD and Irving. Especially Irving and Harden, two ball-dominant players.

...but somehow Irving and Luka is going to work?

Durant is a poosay.

Maybe it’s his own fault, maybe it’s his moms, but building around him is foolish.

I would blame Durant most of all. It was his idea to team up with the head case that is Irving. Second is the front office for agreeing to it and then adding Harden who is another guy who doesn't exactly lead to playoff wins

Sorry, meant that in general, not directed at you specifically...
Gotcha. To be honest with you, I just don't think Irving and Harden are winning players. Super-talented, but not the type of guys that can win in the playoffs.

High usage players like that are tough. They never seem to trust their teammates enough.

Well, to be fair they spent a lot of time without his participation. And it still happened.

Was going to also say the majority of the blame goes to KD. As far as the Harden addition while the FO should get some blame for it the majority of the blame has to go to KD & Kyrie. If they didn't want Harden the FO doesn't go get him.

The trio of KD, Kyrie & Harden will go down as the most underachieving super team of all time.
