The Oregonian beat write Gina Mizel(?) told Benning, she thought that LB coach Trent Bray and receivers coach Brent Brennan would be coming. She doesn't thing Mark Banker (DC) will be coming with him, she thought he was on the verge of being fired.

I was excited the minute I heard the news.. I've been a closet beaver fan since they were the div one school I got any mail from in high school..

Riley is a great coach.. You negative Nancy's will see..

Can't be any worse than pelini..

Pelini got out coached most of the time.. We won 9 games a year because we have more talent because we are Nebraska..

Talent alone gets us 9 wins with our schedules.

I'm with you, HH. We went as far as we could go with Bo, and after pondering the new coach for a day, I think we may have found a real gem. Given the resources available at NU, Riley just might be able to pull it off. As has been said before, I think the big factor will be who he gets for his staff.

I live smack in the middle of Ducks country, here in Central Oregon, and, I, too, am secretly partial to the Beavers...almost went to school there, but opted for U of Montana, instead. The '95 season was very, very good to me. Huskers and Grizzlies were both Natty winners that year! LOL...I was so insufferable during the entire year of '96, I could hardly even stand myself!
