I just want to know what camp people are in. I can tell from the posts and I know there will be fence sitters.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

I am a Negative Nancy.

Yeah. We all gathered that buddy.

Bo was given a Ferrari and couldn't get it out of neutral. Mike should improve us greatly on offense. We need great DC.

Oh he got it out of neutral. He repeatedly drove it off the road, a few times off a cliff.

I'm on the fence....

He made great comments about the walk-on program and how they are essential for a program to succeed. Coach Riley also stated that he would evaluate the players and adapt to what we have rather than pull a HWSNBN move and implement his style over the players expertise.

Am I sold on the move... No, I'm not.

Personally, I would have liked to see a run game guy come in and develop a run it up your ass identity, will coach Riley do that... :noidea:

Coach Riley is going to have to prove too me that he is the "one" too take us to the next level.

Although, as of this moment going forward, he has my support and I wish him all the success in the world, so with that being said: WELCOME ABOARD COACH RILEY.... :suds:

Two things in his presser that rang the bell for me.

One - Position coaches must first and foremost have expertise in the position they are coaching. Yes, Yes, Yes and Fuck Yeah!!!!!

Umm - let me get back to you on the second. I forgot it.

I was furious when I heard the news, but I've come around to the idea quite a bit

I just got back from the county courthouse where I filled out a form for my new name to be Paulina

...And the second thing.

He looks at the players to determine their talent and then adjusts accordingly. I am guessing that means Beck has his bags packed.

It is about 29 minutes long then you get Eichorst.

I did write notes, but I deleted them

Mike Riley loves walk ons.

Mike Riley insists on having a special teams coach.

Mike Riley plans on bringing over assistants but he has not informed any of them
(I am guaranteeing one is Bruce Read, Special Teams Coach. If you listen to the presser both Riley and Eichorst gush over special teams)

Those were the positives I got out of it and this is the positive thread.

grudgingly positive. I am really just waiting to see who the coordinators are going to be.

I can see a plan where you got the nice guy who develops talent with some recruiting ability, paired with big name proven offensive and defensive coordinators who can also recruit, and then maybe you have something.

If Riley simply brings his old staff with him or hires coordinators we've never heard of, then I won't be impressed and then you can call me on the negative nancy team.

Same here--grudgingly optimistic.

You forgot to mention that fact it wasn't Bo up there talking about the bowl game. They had me at "we've hired..." :suds:
