Who agree's that SVS should be starting at CF?

I would not start SVS in CF.

There's nothing wrong with wanting his bat in the lineup but starting Van Slyke in CF would be ridiculous.

He's not that much better than Schumaker.

SVS over Skip? Yes

SVS in CF? Hell no

All in all, Skip handled CF well enough and had a couple of big hits. He's no Matt Kemp, but at least the guy can play every day.

Hopefully Ethier is capable of playing in the NLCS. He isn't Matt Kemp, either, but he's better than Skip.

I heard Ethier in an interview say that he thinks he can play CF on Friday. He ran the bases before the game on Monday.

I won't believe it until I see his name on a lineup card.
