White Sox call up Carlos Rodon

Well, this didn't take long.

Hope this isn't too early and they're not rushing this kid. Looks like they're gonna start Rodon out in the pen (ala Sale). Can only hope he catches on quickly and turns out like Sale.

I know it worked with Sale but Rodon belongs in the rotation

I'm sure he'll get into the rotation as soon as he proves he's ready.

and he makes his debut in a 1st and 3rd situation in a 2-1 game. stupid

and he comes in too amped up and cant find the strike zone. this has me almost as pissed as robin not challenging.

Yup ... that was not pretty in the least.

Hopefully, he had his debut jitters and this is not a sign of what's to come. I suspect he'll eventually settle down, but RV didn't waste anytime trotting him out there. Wish it wasn't under difficult situation though as he was definitely jacked up and was not finding the strike zone at all.
