Have two-point conversions ever decided a game (and I'm not talking Super Bowl games)? They do in college in overtime. Defense is on the field and not a kicking specialist am I right?
Again, if seattle only gave up 6pts would that move them up this so called list of best defenses?
Side note Seattle's defense almost outscored the greatest offense.

Are they actually ranked or a list of best defenses? Or something you came up with? And yes, a defense outscoring an offense is highly regarded minus the points and yards they gave up.

I'm sure there's multiple lists
Fox sports has them 2nd behind Denver's SB winning defense

You still didn't answer my question...If Seattle gave up only 6pts not 8 does that move them up your list of best defenses also knowing giving up 306yds was mostly garbage yards since Seattle was up 36pts and defense was in prevent mode?

And you're not getting the fact that I have no such list. And by the way, in what alternate universe is giving up 8 points better than giving up 6?

The 2000 Ravens, 02 Bucs, 13 Seahawks and 15 Broncos all had amazing defenses overall and defenses that did well in the Super Bowl they won, but I think the Pats limiting the Rams high octane offense to 3 points in Super Bowl 53 might be the best defensive performance in the Super Bowl itself, Pats D was outstanding in that game. It’s kind of hard to believe the Pats won the Super Bowl that year given that they really didn’t have many weapons on O around Brady, Edelman and Gronk were pretty much it, but Brady was just amazing and carried the team and their D was stronger than normal that year

and no other team in that division had a winning record in either season.

12 of 28 helps.
Worked for the Patriots in the AFC Least for how many years? Which makes me wonder you hear so much about the vaunted Purple People Eaters (Page, Larsen, Eller and Marshall), they were demolished, devastated, and obliterated in four Super Bowls with Super Bowl rushing records set against them by Larry Csonka, then broken by Franco Harris against them, and then Clarence Davis rushes for more than 100 yards against them). How good were they really? Or were they accumulating sacks and looking good against weak NFC Central teams in the late '60s and early '70s?

You gotta put the Seahawks up here, holding Denver who averaged 37 points a game all year, and 606 points in the regular season, the most in league history, and Seattle held them to 8 points! .. That was arguably the best Super Bowl defensive performance of all time…
Hell yeah. Maybe the most unexpectedly entertaining super bowl I've ever watched.

And you know after the shameful ass-whoopings Elway took in multiple super bowls, there was nothing he could say to Peyton Manning about it.

It was a classic DNVR shitshow from the opening snap:

it's a nickname like Steel Curtain and Doomsday.

The conversation was good SB defenses. Pittsburgh was a great defense. Tarkington was shit in SB9. Pittsburgh had great stats in a run the football era and shut down Foreman. I mentioned SB6 as a great defensive SB effort also in the very same run the football era. Little difference... Minnesota was a good effort against a QB who shit the bed. Miami was domination of a team on the cusp of NFL greatness.

I give a rats ass about Minnesota's defense in regards to Super Bowl defensive play.

DJ...in 1.2.3

It was Dallas' defense in SBVI that first got me thinking about what they accomplished and SB defenses. Even though Miami wasn't at their peak yet, the Dolphins had a great offensive line and their offense had five future HOFers: Griese, Csonka, Little, Warfield, and Langer.
