Which RB are we most likely to draft?

Dallas should trade up and grab Ajayi. The potential reward would far outweigh the cost of moving up in the 4th round.

I was thinking about that. I wonder how much it would cost them to move up to 101? That's the 2nd pick in the 4th round, and I think they're on good terms with New England.

I read that some teams are concerned about Ajayi's knee, and that could be a reason for him falling this far.

I doubt they trade up for him after passing on him. Would love to see us land Ajayi or Langford, not holding my breath

Probably exchange 4ths, plus our 5th and 7th

I don't know if they do it or not. But you know Jerry has a trade itch to scratch. And this would be a limited risk gamble. All the talk out of Dallas before the draft was that Dallas liked Ajayi, even taking him to dinner during the course of his visit -- I don't know if that is S.O.P. or not. I would be all for giving up our 4th, 5th and 7th to make the move for Ajayi. In reality the guys we draft in the 5th and 7th would be unlikely to make the roster.

If Dallas walked with a haul of B.Jones, R.Gregory, C.Green, and J.Ajayi, I would be very happy with this draft. There is some premium talent in that group.

setting up nicely for Langford but something tells me jerry is thinking 5th round. That's a mistake, pull the lever in round 4

apparently they have something else in mind as far as the rb position is concerned

It would seem so.

I keep reading more and more about Jay Ajayi's knee being toast. Bone on bone possibly. Would make sense as to why he has fallen so far (still falling).

I think too many of us are worried about drafting an RB when it's not really necessary. Think Arian Foster, undrafted free agent. Dallas has been pretty good at finding undrafted gems. I think this is the route they may be going with RB. But the thing is, they have to find the right guy.

Make sense, although I can see the need to draft a RB. Never was I high on a 1st rd back because I know the defense needs upgrade much more so. Langford out of M. State may be there in the 5th also. I think the only positions left that we can get instant quality playing time from are DB, RB, and LB.

Agree it's not necessary, but disagree that we will be finding a UFDA RB. We have 4 already and we can go with that if we have to, but it would be a stretch to think we are going to find and keep a UFDA this year. Possible, yes, but not likely a guy finds his way on the final roster with all those RBs, at least 3 TEs and a FB.

Scary place Dallas is headed with this approach. I was fine with moving on from Murray and not trading for Peterson. Those moves seemed logical. I'm not so sure about roiling with who they have at RB to start the season though. I think they might be overrating that O-line just a bit.

I have no clue why Joseph Randle is still on the team.

Randle, looks like a talented runner, but seems like a jackass. I think the fact that he wasn't charged with any crimes relating to the domestic incident bought him a little more life in Dallas.

I agree, sign a few FA's.

I for one am glad Randle is still on this team. He's a knucklehead but he has NFL talent and at least for 2015 he most talented RB on this team. I think he's the reason the team let Murray walk.

The team will sign some undrafted free agents to compete at RB.
