FSU paid Oregon 3.5 million to buy Taggart out
FSU also paid USF 1.5 million to buy Taggart out
It would require paying above market value if they fired Taggart quickly on top of Fisher strange departure (40mm +)

FSU would likely need to pony up maybe 75 million to get a new coach to sign there right now.

They dont have that kind of cash. Taggart is rock solid for financial reasons.

Unless of course some other school falls in love with him and buys out Florida State.

Na, he's a scrub and wasn't doing shit in that offense before he got injured. Maybe scrub is too harsh as he isn't surrounded by any developed talent around him but he isn't a fit at all in that offense. Kelly will get them going but it will take a few years as the soft Cali kids have always gone there. Taggart, there is no excuse as he currently has more talent than anyone in the ACC not named Clemson.

As with all the coaches, I think Taggart is in the same situation as Chip Kelly, they more than the others are gunna need time to get players that fit their schemes into the program.

Posters on here keep making cracks about Frost but Colorado already had a game under their belt when Nebraska got hosed due to lighting. That does make a difference. Frost loses a close one to the Buffs and then to Akron and people here act like he's some fvking schlep like that worthless pos in Talahassee. Unlike Nebraska, FSU is fvcking loaded with talent and they totally suck ass.

The Pac 12 South vs the B1G West. You'd think both of those pose some good possibilities. But the way Nebraska and UCLA have looked............

Nebraska has Purdue on 9/29, Minnesota 10/30 and Illinois 11/10.

UCLA has Colorado 9/28, Cal 10/13 and Arizona 10/20.

I'm gonna say Pudgy Chip.

Nebraska is all in on frost. I could see FSU or UF moving on first, they have no ties to those coaches and with the talent available will have less patience.

Fresno St. went 7 - 1 in conference play last season not to mention they have a solid coach in Tedford. They are no pushover by any means, especially with McMarrion at QB.
