One game in a recent career of top 5 defenses? Seems silly. I bet teams with guys ranked above him on this list would fire that guy if Don Brown wanted to come their way.

Go ahead, try and argue UAB wouldn't fire David Reeves in a heartbeat if they could get Don Brown. Oh, also justify Jeremy Pruit being #3 -- they seem to rank him there entirely on 1 performance, Tenn finished FORTY NINTH in total defense last year and 77th in scoring defense.

So they're willing to ignore a season's worth of bad performances because of 1 game but are also flipping the script and ignoring a season's worth of elite performance out of Brown for a single bad performance at OSU.

Vs Florida, UM was missing two top 15 draft picks who chose to sit out who were critical to that defense all year in Bush and Gary. And the other guy, a 3rd round pick, in Winnovich - played injured. Do you think that might have had some impact on our ability to defend Florida?

Yeah, we had a bad game against OSU. But suggesting Brown isn't a top 5 DC "playcaller) because of that is ridiculous. You're trying to defend a list that has Jeremy Pruitt ranked as the #3 playcaller on defense and a coach at UAB above Don Brown. Give me a break.

Florida won 41-14.

Michigan was missing 4/6 draft prospects it had and of the two playing, one was injured. I would have liked to win, but that team was a shell of a team that played the regular season.

That Brown isn't a top 10 DC "playcaller" because of a single game and another game with 1/4 of his starting defense out or injured.

Is Scott Frost one of the worst coaches in the B10 because of the game against Michigan? Is that how this works?

It's not a single game. He gave up 42 to Penn St in 2017 in a (13-42) loss.

I called Michigan's defense a fraud right here on the SportsHoopla leading up to that game.

It's easy to have good defensive numbers when you're playing crappy Big 10 offenses.

Scott Frost was a first year coach in game 3 with entirely new schemes at Nebraska.
