And the value of the draft pick was based on Jimmy Johnson’s famed draft pick value chart. Performance and games played accounts for about two-thirds of the grade, while pick and positional value accounts for the remaining third.

The grade is not necessarily a representation of the player’s ability but rather the value of the pick he was selected with. For instance, Andrew Luck is probably a better player than Russell Wilson, but Wilson has a higher grade because he was picked in the third round. The Colts do not get credit for being good drafters for making a pick that even the worst GM would have made.

Entire 2012 draft looks like a bust now too (to go along w 10 and 11)

They're unhappy w Reiff, might not pick up 5 the year.

Bentley is an injury bust
Ronnel Lewis off the team
Tahir Whitehead good back up
Greenwood off the team
Green off the team
Travis Lewis ST at best (13 career tackles and a PED suspension).

I do, however, find their analytics on a per snap basis quite intriguing and another metric to look at.

This has to be off. How are the Patriots #1 and the Lions #26? How can the Pats draft rating be more than double the Lions? I figured it'd be a push or the Pats up by a point or two. PFF must not realize that the Lions and Pats drafted basically the same from 2009-2011.
