Lot to digest. Calhoun and Culbertson can go imo along with Leclerc and Duggar.

From Levi Weaver:

After going 6-2 with a 3.99 ERA in High A with Hickory, White was promoted to Double-A Frisco. In two starts, he has allowed just two earned runs on two total hits in 10 1/3 innings, striking out 12 and walking two. He left his second start 5 1/3 hitless innings in which he struck out seven and walked none before exiting with a sprained ankle.

It’s not expected to be an injury that leads to a(nother) lengthy absence, however, and if the 22-year-old White can continue this level of success at Frisco, he might be a dark horse to get some big-league time before the end of the year.

Do think we may move some of these bubble guys be or just lose them. Hard call on Bubba but I do not see a world where Bubba White Duggar Reks and Leody all coexist without one in the minors and another as a 4th OF and longshot one starting.
Maybe they are just placeholders for Evan White. Would be surprised if Josh S or Duran capture CF. Could see either in LF though.

Prepare to be surprised and maybe even amazed.
Ha I am all for that Mr optimist. Josh is still a work in progress but I am impressed he is a gamer and look forward to all the gap doubles Duran can generate
Really can’t wait for midseason break where I predict moves will be made

Here is my beef with FO. They cater too much with Woody and it does look like Duggar has an option. Placing his development over Leody really puts a bad taste in my mouth

Depending on who is drafted high and who we keep from our current prospects, I wonder if Duran and Smith could see play in the IF in another 3 years or so. Newberg suggested a few months ago that within a few years Semien could move to DH and Seager could move to 1B.

Of course, if we draft Lee, Johnson or Holliday, one of the IF spots would most likely go to one of them in 3 or 4 years.

I also wonder if Semien will deserve a spot in our lineup in another 3 or 4 years.

Dane Dunning has been a disappointment.
He might be an average #4 or #5 starter.
Not looking back favorably at the Lynn trade.

I think disappointment is a bit of a strong sentiment, he's been plagued by bad defense and bad luck... could he better? Yes, but time will tell, but he's shown signs of being a really good pitcher, just needs to work on his command, misses his spot way too much
Yeah, I think I overreacted a bit. I wasn't able to actually watch the game and was having to go off of the box score.
I missed the fact that the defense committed two errors.

Semien to me might be out current best hitter right now but yeah who knows 3 years from now

Seems smart to have MLB ready iF just in case or even to replace at some point contrAct or not

You mean he wasn't working on lousy stuff and getting his butt kicked like just about every starter at Frisco.

Good one. I think we should cut Leiter some slack as being new. Winn in AAA needs to produce and excel soon to be brought up

Maybe the working on stuff took place in the first several weeks of the season and now it is paying dividends.
