Use any metric that you desire but justify by posting the pro's and con's of your choice to the question...Where does Kirk Cousins end up?

If he is smart and wants to win my first pick would be Denver where he gets to be John Elway's boy with a very good defense. If Jacksonville entertains ideas of letting Bortles go I would RUN there. Great D, very good running game and if they can keep ARob plenty of people to throw the ball to.

Cousin's just seems like he would like Colorado to me.

I chose Denver because just with a avg qb LIKE Kirk would put Denver in the hunt I have watched alot of Denver games because of the area I live in and there qb play has been the worst ever seen

Cle b/c they will offer the most money. Maybe 30m plus a year. Most likely an AFC team which is a good thing.

Denver... because its the Anti-Washington. A stable environment in need of a good QB. He will nor need to carry the team as the defense wont be leaving him to play from behind early and often. And he is going to shock some of you by leaving money on the table that he deserves and could get, in order to be in a better situation.

Do you see the pressure to win in Denver as an impediment? What about playing and living up to those long shadows cast by both Elway and Manninng as something to consider?

Cleveland huh? So you think that money will be the singular driving force for Kirk. I like your choice and will explain later why I believe that it is a good choice.

Interesting because of the reasons you've stated, but I believe that Elway might be the reason why he doesn't go there.

I think Elway might be the reason why he goes. You have to wait until they can talk. If he wants to win he should want to end up in Denver, Jacksonville or Minnesota. Only one of those might be available.

If he goes to Cleveland I am going to call him and our FO dumb asses.

I believe that it's Cleveland for these reasons.

1. First the money will too much to turn down.

2. Legendary status..In the last 3 seasons the Browns are 4-44, there's no real pressure to win a SB and if they win 8 games with Kirk, statues will be erected in his honor.

3. The new GM, John Dorsey will continue to build a new, more respected, and competitive version of the Browns, and it won't take long before they are second in the division ahead of Baltimore and Cincinnati. If Roethlisberger retires as has been hinted at, I could see the Brown claiming a division title fairly quickly.

4. Finally, in a bit of irony, the RGIII factor...Cousins originally drafted to be Griffin's back-up ultimately replaced him here in DC, their careers are tied together in that Kirk has succeeded where Griffith has not. Wouldn't it be a nice final step in their journey to see Kirk once again flourish where Griffin failed?

I'd say Denver. The Jets are probably going to lose Anderson so their WR corps will be really thin. Why jump on that boat when the Broncos have the D to win now. Cleveland would be nuts not to take one of the kid QB's.
Bortles may have just turned his wrist operation into guaranteeing his 2018 salary which is 18 mil so I doubt they'll have cap space. Kaepernick did the same thing with the last year he played in San Fran (They were going to cut him the next year opted out) and the teams usually have no recourse.
Cards may also be a dark horse, they don't have $ tied up in a QB.

the best way for KC to cement his legacy with RG3 or BA is to win in the playoffs and make superbowls

going to the browns would be about cash and that would give the abc's or allen puppets some solace but he isnt going to the browns

Yes the money and the draft picks that hey have will make KC go there. Its actually a better place to go than the Jets. The Browns then could add Barkley in the draft. A lot of young talnet for KC to work with. Plus he will be getting paid top dollar. SO yes he should go there.

If KC wanted to win a Super Bowl he should take a lot less and go to the Jags or Broncos. Lets see if that will happen. lol

No one really THINKS Kirk will go to the Browns by choice.

But a few are probably HOPING he go where careers go to die. :suds:

Wrong!! I believe that it's going to be his....let me repeat that, HIS #1 choice for the reasons that I've already outlined.

BTW: The ONLY ones hoping that he doesn't, are those who want him to thumb his nose at Washington from places where those same people think his chances at success are better.

Im with Sty here.

If Cousins is smart he will want to play in Cleveland. Why would he want to go to Vikings where Case Keenum just took em to a championship game. Anything short of that and he's a bust... Same with Jacksonville. Why would he want to go to Denver. Yes they have a nice defense but anything short of a SB and he's a bust. Why would he want to go to the Jets where the media will be on his ass to win win win and the fans will turn on him more quickly than any Redskin fan ever could. Why go to San Diego.. yea the weather is great but the team is far from any contention. It's Cleveland... if he want's to win and has any smarts about him.

Hear me out.

Cleveland... Where winning just two games and you might get a statue built in your honor.
Cleveland... Where with the number one pick you'll finally have a stud RB.
Cleveland... Where with the 4th pick they'll draft a stud DE in Chubs.
Cleveland... Where you have a nice front line and a couple nice WR's already in place.
Cleveland... Where the rest of the division is about to take a step back.
Cleveland... Where they have a new GM who has a keen eye on talent evaluation.
Cleveland... Where despite all that mentioned above he will be the one viewed as to why the turn around.
Cleveland... Where RG3 failed and yet another thorn in Washington's side.

Hey, Im just a logical thinker. If I was Cousins I would want to go to the place with the least amount of pressure... the most upside and the team with quite a lot of money to spend.... but hey, that's just me.

KC is going to Denver. Elway has proven he will bring a QB in to win now. Denver is a QB away from being a major contender. They can use the number five pick to trade down and improve that OL while picking up future firsts.
