James, PG, and Leonard.

Maybe just 2 of the 3 but that's a lock now with PG opting out.

Not necessarily. PG had to opt out to get his MAX extension from OKC this summer (if that's his intent).

I think he's doing it to come to the Lakers because he knows James is and sees the Lakers also trying to trade for Leonard.

ESPN was talking about the possibility of Lebron and Kawhi coming to the Lakers and the Lakers keep Randle.

That would require moving Deng's contract first. If George comes as well, they'll have to renounce Randle (unless Kawhi comes via trade after Randle is signed, but that will create some salary matching issues).

While great from a basketball perspective, that would be a tough one to swallow after all the crap I've said about Lebron's AND ESPECIALLY Durant's free agency moves.

hey, i'd have no problem with KD on the roster...

him, Kawhi, and PG would tear it up...

Nah.

As long as you never said anything bad about the teams signing them, you are good. LeBron and KD would just be doing their thing.

The more I see what SA wants for Kawhi, the worst this deal looks. They basically want everyone except Randle. The Lakers have not to date substantiated Leonard's injury healing progress and I just we are getting raped by giving-up, Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, AND draft picks heretofore unsubstantiated. I think the Lakers are just giving the Spurs an instant rebuild roster at the behest of themselves because they have a stiffy for Leonard. Stupid has creeped into my thinking to date.

cap strap my team, get his favorite players overpaid, throw everyone under the bus when he doesn't get his way...

I know what you mean, but don't you think at least a small part of that was LeBron's way to stick it to Dan Gilbert? Paying TT and JR Smith those big contracts?

Besides, it isn't like the Cavs had alternatives. They were over the cap.
