This guy gets beat every week. Gruden said changes would be happening. The benching of Polo for Compton was the first one. Why is Biggers still on the field? What is wrong with Minifield, he cant beat out this guy? Leunvo is playing terrible. Long is not ready yet? What about Ribeye?

Gruden called out Morris too. Speaking Monday, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Alfred Morris "missed some cuts" in Sunday's win over the Titans, and isn't working "in concert" with the offensive line. Could we see Helu,. He is the better all around back.

well it is supposed to be porter in biggers spot but hes just chillin and getting paid. so we should have hall, breeland, amerson, and porter which actually isnt bad but two are injured. biggers should be 5th

Our running game is not working because the o-line sucks

So... last year we couldnt pass block. Now we can pass or run block. Am I the only one to find this a tad comical??

Trust me, Porter is not an upgrade.

Comical? Cant say Im laughing much about it. What do you chalk up our poor running performance to?

Guess i have a twisted sense of humor. The one thing we had for certain the last 4 years was a rushing attack. I chalk it up to trying desperately to become the next greatest show on grass. For as bad as we were in the passing attack, we consistently had a top ten rushing attack.

porter is not an upgrade from biggers?

Not really. He has never been ranked well. He is a mid to lower mid ranked CB. I will give him credit that he does occasionally make big plays, but he gets burned quite often. Lets face it, these guys were both on the trash pile and we picked them up for nothing. They were meant has place holders until our young guys were ready. I guess you get what you pay for.

One thing is certain Shark, without RGIII in the lineup the running game seems dysfunctional, maybe there was a more heavily reliance on the ZBS or there was the threat that he would use his legs against the opposition....possibly both. However, without him the running game has disappeared, coincidence? Maybe. It could be because teams are more confident than ever that neither KC nor CM can beat them in an aerial attack and have geared against the run. Even this points to the absence of RGIII and what he POTENTIALLY represents. Who knows, in time, despite his return, the results could very well be the same.

If Biggers is going to be in opposing teams' end zone celebration shots he should at least learn how to photobomb.

Yeah Porter sucks, I questioned the signing but figured he was far down the depth chart and they got him cheap. I have always rooted for Minnifield but I guess asking the coaches to go with a 2nd year and 2 rookies as their corners is asking a lot.

So play calling? I tend to agree. But I also think that RG3 did have a positive influence on Morris' performance in that defenses could not just key on Al.

Maybe, but then that doesnt explain how even before we had RG3, and in fact when we had Rex and Beck, with No AlMo, we still had a pretty good rushing attack. I think Kyle and Mike(Along with Bobby Turner) were more to do with it than RG3 and Morris. And right now I think it also has alot to do with what they are trying to do on offense. We have committed to pass protection first and foremost. Shorter splits between lineman has a big effect on the stretch zone plays and limits cutback lanes.

The reason why we had a great rushing attack the last few years is because of Mike Shanahan, let's not forget that he has had a running game wherever he goes

maybe because teams have caught on to the fact that to beat us all they have to do is stop the run

That was true the majority of the time the last coach was here. Our run game still was productive. Im just pointing out, I think the coaches had alot more to do with that than many will give the credit for.

I just discovered the up vote/down vote thingy and you got my first up vote. The stats don't lie, Shanny's teams always ran the ball well.
