The oil prevents them from burning as well....

...tho "brown" is what yer looking for. "Brown" is good.

No Cholesterol, No sugars.

High calories, count, but I am not sure how that translate when "cooked", as those numbers are for raw oil?

Dietary fat is worlds better for you than sugar.

i just dont like adding 120 calories for a tablespoon of oil............can you roast without out the oil? Also what kind of olive oil.......
Welllll... I suppose you could skip the oil but it will burn. Yuck. Another alternative is using olive oil Pam. I don't know how real that is though. There are also oil misters that you can fill with olive oil that will do the trick. It's really a minimal amount, and you need fat in your diet so might as well be a good fat!

Is it ok to say all of them, I can't pin point a single spice that I like most. I really like fresh grated or julienned ginger it adds a great busrt of flavor to just about any recipe.

I hear that in Oregon and Colorado they are all using a new "green" spice. Yep, it's legal now.

Cinnamon for me. Gives a nice taste without the mild allergic reaction I get from pepper.

Paprika is my favorite spice that isn't one that everyone should have in their kitchen (salt, pepper, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder).

You do realize that you won't eat half of that oil that is put into the dish? No, you cannot roast it without the oil

I usually use oil, salt, pepper, garlic and some lemon pepper to my veggies when I roast them.

And the fat in olive oil is not bad. Yeah we hate calories, but the Greek diet is heavy with Olive Oil and yes, they tend to be on the heavy side. Yet on average, they live longer than Americans.

It's not the fat that should bother people, it's the kind of fat.
