Put it on paper or it doesn't count.

I said during the draft, I would have taken Brantley in the fourth. He would have been my second 4th rounder and we would not have gotten Montae Nicholson.

In the second round, I would have taken Obi or Cunningham over Anderson. Now that I have done some reading on Anderson, I would have only taken Obi over him. After the draft's entirety, I like the Anderson pick.

I would have taken a QB in the last couple rounds. Once again Chad Kelly comes to mind. He has an attitude and swagger (no pun intended) that I love. His ceiling is high and I think he is would fit JGs system. Kaaya is another that I would have been ok with.

I really like the Anderson pick, but I would have taken Elflein (C/G, OSU). That may have been a little high for him, but I think that would have put the finishing touches on our OL. He was underrated. He is said to be a tireless worker, with the ability to be a Pro Bowler.

instead of Nicholson I would have taken King from Iowa. Could of made him into a FS. The guy made plays in college. I cant argue with the other picks we made.

First and foremost I make the trade with any of the teams from 41 to 47 and draft Mixon.

Overall I like the draft but here's were we start to shit in the bed and it STINKS!!!!!!!!!

Monte Nicholson
One of the better box run stopping safeties in the draft. Has speed (4.42) to cover but doesn't have great hips.
Not great in deep coverage
He is not in the Top 200 for any of the three sites so there is no grade.
he’s not necessarily a play-maker.
Montae Nicholson helps himself with combine performance
Info
Big and beautiful with no impact on the game whatsoever,"
He's more of a box safety and he's running a 4.43
"He's got some hip stiffness, some (change of direction) stuff,
Nicholson has always had the physical tools, but that didn't always translate to the field during his three years in East Lansing.

Nicholson had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder two days after participating in the NFL draft combine. Much like Fabian Moreau he will miss the team's OTAs and mini camps That’s a concern. At least Moreau brings much more to the table, Nicholson sound like he needs a lot of help. This as a bad pick b/c there were better prospect available at Nicholson spot.

Number 2 and 3 shit in the bed

JOSH HARVEY-CLEM
2017 NFL Draft Profile: Josh Harvey-Clemons
He could be considered by teams as a box safety or hybrid linebacker.
Wait a min wasn’t Monte Nicholson consider a box safety.
He failed 3 drug tests. A repeat offender Okay I had enough. Again better option was available

Joshua Holsey
Now we buckle down and wallow more in our own stupidity. So we draft Monte Nicholson and Josh Harrvey -Clem instead of other better players like Desmond King a CB!!!!!!! And draft Joshua Holsey who is not in the top 400 prospects. Now I bet anyone here could have made a better pick than this.

Okay some of you will defend these selections and you have that right. However to me this shit doesn’t make any sense at all. If these players were on SM list it says a lot about his overall selection during his regime with the Skins. This is horrible stuff.

I totally agree about King. Taking Nicholson over King didn't make sense to me. King would of been a nice FS.

Why are you shouting?

He's a coach DGF. He always shouts!

But I agree with coach. You don't take flyers on everyone rounds 6-7, you draft like you are expecting every one of them to be starters one day. It's been said many times before... good teams, Super bowl teams, they consistently do well in rounds 5-7.

I agree to an extent. So which has a better chance of being a starter one day? An average but healthy collegiate, or a collegiate that had first or second round talent and measurable but had injuries or an off field incident?

I would say an average collegiate should be a below average pro. An injury or two playing a very violent sport, or a youthful indiscretion we hope are part of their past but the talent is there.

Happy with our draft, if our first 3 picks win the starting job by 2018 I'd assume it would grade out as an A
