Of course it does; you just said it would take a lotto pick or a very good young player. If it was just picks to get it done, we're probably looking at 2 future 1sts.

2 future 1st round picks is a lot to give up. Even with protections.

I think its pretty much confirmed its George and LeBron to LA if you ask me. I will be very surprised if its not. Why would George not have said something to OKC at this time? he has been there for months- in contact with RW......if he is going to stay in OKC he would have done so already if you ask me.

If LeBron was staying in Cleveland he would be working with them on other deals more.

As is it seems like he is trying to work to get Leonard to LA----- though, from what I have read- that is exceedingly unlikely unless a third team really comes in and will give up good assets for Ball.

It seems so obvious that I almost expect it not to happen, but it sure seems like its a done deal.

Im expecting to hear Love being involved in trade rumors or being traded starting now.

He better not drag this nonsense out again. No way he hasn't decided already where he is going.

the value of a late first round pick is set at something like 6-7 million dollars is the issue.

Remember when everone was talking about Parsons contract and the Grizz maybe giving up the 4th pick? That was for a contract that is not that different than Dengs--- 2 years.......Parsons is more expensive but not wildly more expensive.

I think even 2 late first rounders is not enough to take back 36M in bad money- especially in such a tight cap space market. We shall see though.

Uhh why? Kawhi is still in SA and PG hasn’t made up his mind. He could very well not have decided yet

Hurts the Rockets chances seems like an understatement to me. Eliminates the Rockets from contention is a more accurate statement.
yah Rockets are out...if the Celtics were ever in they are out--- and it hurts the Sixers chances though does not make it impossible.

The thing is, the Lakers would only be able to give up the 2020 and 2022 1st round picks due to the consecutive pick rule. I could definitely see a team be willing to make that trade especially if those picks have weak protections on them.

It doesn't really hurt the Sixers chances. They can free up the cap space pretty easily if need be.
