For all those that seem to be in a forgetful mood.
We have, one of the top 5 Personnel/Scout guys in the league as our GM. The guy who played a key role in building the 49ers a few years back when they were a power house. The guy who also played a key role in helping build the Sea Hawks who are basically dominant NOW. And one who learned in Green Bay when they were building the team that has made the playoffs seven years running.
We have one of the top 5 Numbers guys in the league. The guy who was able to absorb a total ass raping of $36 million in cap penalty ten minutes AFTER dealing with the Haynesworth contract from hell. Despite all this, we were able to field a team that was not comprised of 48 rookies, RG3 and a couple of street free agents on the far side of 30.
We still have ( at least for the moment) one of the better O-line coaches in the league who was able to absorb basically season ending injuries to two starters, and roll with an O-line that ended up with four of its starters as guys who coming into the season had a total of I think 3 starts between them.
This doesnt even take into account we actually have some good talent with guys like Kerrigan, Breeland, Baker and a few others.
So Im thinking things are looking fairly optimistic as a Redskins fan at the moment.
