Going to guess Caleb Kelly for OU. Not sure if it's from day one, but with Striker gone and Dominique Alexanders dumb decision to go pro early there are definitely spots open and kid certainly looks to have the tools to be a great one. Mykel Jones at WR and Kendall at QB (especially if Baker goes down) as that 2nd group or sleeper picks.

What say you?

Gotta go with Jacob Eason. Poor QB play has plagued UGA the last two seasons. I expect some growing pains, and some face palm moments, but hopefully we'll be able to complete something other than a screen pass.

Also, early in the season, Evander Holyfield's son will probably get a lot of time at RB as Nick Chubb is coming off his knee surgery last season, and Sony Michel just had surgery on a broken forearm.

You know what blows. I have too many to pick frome again. That is never a good sign. I am going with Buechele, because he will be the QB. I could go WR Johnson or Duvernay. Camp hasn't started, but I wouldn't be shocked if a defensive player hit the radar. I am hoping this is the last year there are 4-6 options.

This doesn't really apply for Bama. Nobody needs to hear about your great special team player that plays 15 downs on offense or defense. Get your rich 1%er ass out of this thread

No doubt. Eason sure looks like the real deal from everything I've seen on him from high school. Might not be from day one, but eventually I think he will be a damn good player.

I sure hope so. These last two years have made me realize that I was way too critical of Aaron Murray.

As a Texas fan be prepared for a lot of WTF moments. He will make you believe one game and follow it with disaster. Through it all your only true friend will be Jim.....Beam, he will get you through the freshmen blues

Well, he's an OT so I doubt he'll be playing much special teams.

And he's a white boy from California who kind of looks like a stoned Tim Tebow.

I'm hoping our veteran O-line and 5 star running backs will take some pressure off of him. I'd be happy with another 10-3 season.

Yeah. I'd agree. My first guess was Duvernay for Texas. But being that a lot of that his production ultimately depends on Buechele (depending on whether or not he gets the nod) he's probably the biggest factor overall.

My pick would be Rashan Gary, not only was he a unanimous #1 recruit but he has a unique opportunity to actually earn a spot on the line rotation when the season starts. I think we'll see him from day one and I'm not sure I could say that of any other freshman.

My backup guess would be Kareem Walker. Yes, Smith comes back as the starter but outside of the Florida game last year, I've never been super impressed with his running abilities. A guy like Walker might be able to come in and press for some time.

Probably Daelin Hayes or Devin Studstill. Studstill may even start.

I think Caleb Kelly is the obvious pick. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked to see him as the starter from day 1, though I might be a little surprised. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

Mykel Jones is a good sleeper pick, but with our receiver core, who really knows? My sleeper pick is Abdul Adams. I think he makes a special teams impact as a return man.

Lamar Jackson but he is a Safety which is the best part for Nebraska so he might not see the field.

My guess - Derrion Grim

If Demornay Pierson EL is still hurt and unable to return punts, Derrion Grim is the man.

If he can return punts like he did in high school, he just might see the field.

Nebraska Bound #GBR

He had a pretty good final year of high school

96 receptions
1,928 yards
avg yard per catch = 20.1 yards
34 TDs
1 Punt return for a TD
2 Kickoff returns for a TD

Total TDs = 37 in a ten game season

Good point. Adams definitely has to tools to thrive in Riley's system too, whenever that may be. Really good receiver out of the backfield or slot as well.

Damn! I couldn't even get those kind of numbers when i jacked up my WR's rating to 99 in the EA college football game back in the day.

got to be Buechelle for Texas. He plays, he stays healthy, he'll make the biggest impact.

If not him, then as mentioned, take your pick: Large number of talented freshmen coming on campus.

Was a joke. Bama fans don't have to worry too much about a recruit filling holes. Those anxieties are for the middle and lower class
