"yankees developed sabathia, kuroda, wells, hafner and ichiro"

-fraudkee fans who dont believe in mercenaries

The Yankees entire, ENTIRE bullpen and 3/5's of their starting rotation, and by far thei very best position player, are all homegrown

I'd venture to guess that would put them in the Top 5 of teams with the most homegrown players on their roster

Does KC even have a starting pitcher from their system?

went to both games in the bronx and there were fans screaming at cano for "not hustling" it would seem some yankees fans are not all that thrilled with cano and his laid back attitude.

I'd be screaming at him too. That shit don't fly here. Play hard or GTFO

I liked Lohse when he was a phillie ... not as good as he played last year, but he's solid.

Yea agreed Dirt, he's good not great. He's gonna have some dud games

Theres a few things you can trust in baseball. Yankees will win, Cards pitchers will be better than anyone expects ... its kinda amazing actually

Dave Duncan is amazing. He is not here anymore, but he is to credit for a lot of it. Good coach for pitchers and coaches..

Jake Westbrook and Jaime Garcia are on the DL, but if you knew anything about baseball outside of the East you would have known this.

Shit my bad, its Hockey season.

No argument. I think the Yankees and Cardinals are the best run organizations in the game, and the Yankees may take a Pujols cue from the Cardinals in regards to Cano. I want Cano to stay, for the record, just wouldn't be surprised

the one thing i can look forward to is the blue jays don't play the yankees again till august and marcus stroman and sean nolin are closer to the bigs now. and jose reyes has already begun rehab. just need to be within 6 games by allstar break and i think we can make a run

The Cardinals look like they made a better decision each year. Proving me wrong. I still want him here when he hits milestones. Oh well.

Throw the Rays in there. And they do it on a shoestring budget

Rock,

I am just saying... when you choose to play the "unheard of names" routine, it has no effect because the reason you have not heard of them has zero to do with their talent and everything to do with you not paying attention.

Thanks for proving it for the 8th year in a row.

They need to upgrade that rotation. The Sox don't wanna fade, the Rays are in midseason form, and the O's will be lingering all year IMO

Word! But they did have the #1 pick for 100 years, but they deserve credit for nailing the draft. And Maddon may be the best

i don't disagree with you seeing what's going on with the team. however the rotation has performed very well in recent weeks. but i don't disagree they need to improve if we are gonna make a run. and buehrle actually wasn't bad in the bronx

Sorry ladies, no time to catch up on all the BS that has already been posted, and I can't stick around all morning because they want the deep fat fryer cleaned after a busy weekend, so let me just say: all your teams suck.

And Pickles, only one of those four ladies in your last pic look "german." One of them looks Basque, one looks Dutch, and another looks vaguely irish-american. Are you SURE you're in Munchen???
