I voted for the Sixers.
But, that was admittedly just to even them with Boston.....

Probably none. Leonard would need to go team with another top dog to make it happen. Not some playoff bum like George. No other team in the league has a 1-2 punch combo like LA does. Brooklyn is the closest

Well, you did say the Rockets would have won the title easily last year with Chris Paul, so there's that. It was just a few weeks ago.

Well, Brooklyn has a 1-2-3 punch combo. But I don't think they can play tough enough defense for 4 out of 7 games. Utah and the Sixers are the biggest threats right now, imo.

I can’t buy Utah.

They have gone on runs like this in the regular season before. They are definitely a team than can beat another top team in a series. They are also playing better than anyone else right now.

But when push comes to shove, I just can’t see them winning 4 playoff series.

Clippers are the top threat in the West, IMO.

It's nice that there's 5-6 legit contenders this year instead of the usual 2-3 (and even 1 some years)

Yeah. A lot of teams with a chance for sure.

Some of the top teams still have unanswered questions. Philly, Brooklyn and Utah all look great today. Will they still look like contenders in May?

Brooklyn I think yes. Philly maybe. Among these teams Utah is most likely the early exit.

lol

That's funny because the Clippers are the team I'm having trouble buying. I suppose PG could actually step up and play well in the playoffs...but at this point, I've got to see it first.

Definitely fair.

Just think Utah is at their ceiling right now. Clippers upside is a good deal higher.

But yeah, they could flame out again.

I can see that line of thinking. I kind of look at Lebron and Lakers the other way. Until someone other than a stacked GS team knocks him off I'm not betting against him.

Guess that makes it hard for me to choose anyone for the question.

Yep, he always seems to find a way. I've said before that I think I gave up waiting for him to start declining about 3-5 years ago. He's made a couple of concessions to age, but mostly...he's enjoying the longest prime in sports history.

Right, even Brady is falling off a little, even though he's still winning. Football is far more of a team sport.
