Not sure any of those are the story of the NFL. I would say so far honestly it has been just how boring this season is shaping up to be. Usually we have a lot more close races going on for divisions but right now unless something crazy happens 3 of the 4 divisions in the AFC are almost foregone conclusions with the other just down right terrible anyway. The NFC has a few more races going on but that is more because the NFC just doesn't look all that great beyond just a couple of teams anyway. Just seems like the divide between the great teams and the terrible teams this year is a lot more than usual.

What should be!? Someone beating up his wife or girlfriend. I know the NFL is covering it up this year but man I do miss it. Nothing like waking up on a Monday and going to work jawing with the friends about a good ol' domestic dispute or punch to the face. That Ray Rice vid brought me entertainment for weeks! And JUST when it was running it's course, South Park has Kirk Cousins in an elevator.

The fireworks with JPP was okay, but it would've been better had he assaulted the fireworks before his hand was blown off.
