What P5 conference not named 'The PAC' would take Washington

As to the OP's original question, the only P-5 league that might seriously court any Pac-12 schools would be the Big 12. And they would mostly be interested in the Arizona & lower California schools, and maybe Utah and/or Colorado.

i agree that BIG XII would be the only conference remotely interested to look west and it would def be south division first.

FBS conferences refers to football only, and Notre Dame isn't a member for football. If you leave out the words "FBS" and substitute Division I, then you can include Notre Dame since they are a member for the league's other sports. But, that begs the question: Are there any other Division I leagues (Ivy, WCC, Big East, etc.) that can meet or exceed those bragging rights?

I've been thinking that political leaning and state population has some influence on the type of play your team employs. Also a conservative fanbase vs a liberal fanbase, but ultimately it's based on the best coach you can acquire.
