I'm thinking that with something like that, both major State Schools would have to make the move, so Washington State would probably have to come to make it work. I don't know their politics, but there has to be some people in the legislature that would push it.

Tough call. It would have to be schools from red states imo so that the Big 12 doesn't catch the PAC 12 blue state cancer.

Pitt is another one worth considering .. big time WVU rival.

If the Big 12 is going to expand..Washington should not be it's priority. CA and AZ schools should be the priority just for recruiting alone. Once (if) you get the big fish in SC to join, then you can work on UW imo
