Dude that guy is going to be so overpaid after his 3 weeks of good play in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I'd love him on the Sharks, but for no more than $1.5mil.

Hopefully it's a misdirection by Teh Doug, but somehow I doubt it.

This is pure speculation on my part but I wonder if Wilson is holding off on the announcement of White's re-signing until tomorrow or even July 1st to get the other GM's to focus more on the remaining puck moving dmen, as well as drive up the prices for them, while he cherrypicks the other UFA's he has targeted.

That would seem to fit in with DWil's style. He does like to manipulate things when he has an advantage.

That would work for me. Apparently the article was written on the 27th of June meaning that it was after the Burns trade.

Double bonus if it's true that means Husky-pants won't be re-signed.

I wish I could remember where I saw it but shortly after the Sharks were knocked out of the PO's I read claims that Eager had lockerroom issues with Boyle, Clowe and Thornton. The speculation stemmed from a tweet of a non-roster player. If this is the case he won't be back.
