Eager is what the Sharks need on the bottom z2lines. He has size, speed, toughness, and has hands to bury his chances when he has the puck.

Don't judge Eager, because of his playoff performance.

If the Sharks want someone to fill that role I think they'd be better off trying to bring in Mike Rupp instead of re-signing Eager.

Right now they are just under $7.9m and only have 5 forward spots to fill.

so now we have around 7.2m and some change, to sign 4 forwards

If White is really signed back then Im sure he gets atleast 3mil, so then the Sharks are down to 4.2m, I think Doug could really pull off a great move to get a pair of Pk'ers and the Sharks would be set. :pray2:

any thoughts about Drury? I know Doug was rumored a few times in trying to trade for him a few years back. I'm sure the injury bug on him will scare most GM's away but if Doug was willing to try, it could be a positive move. "the price would have to be right, of course"

If the NHLPA grievance filed against Nashville is successful and their RFAs become UFAs I'd love for the Sharks to grab Nick Spaling and Matt Halischuk. Those guys would make a fantastic third line paired with whomever. IMO
