Did Lonzo Ball mean that much to this team?

I think he did. Lonzo was responsible for spreading the ball around and had finally reached a point where teams could ignore his shot. That led to some great spacing that they no longer have and kept guys from dominating the ball.

Obviously that's not the only problem, but it might be the biggest.

He definitely should’ve been better during this injury. But his current shape isn’t why he got hurt

He plays with so much force and torque that you knew he’d have some issues. But yes this is now a concern
