Seems like the koolaid flows over there. Every year they are poised to break out.

First of all I think that you mean REDSKINS. Anyhow - lol. Both on this forum & in general Redskins fans are usually some of the more self-hating fans in the NFL. I haven't seen any Redskins fans making any SB claims or similar this season. Quite the opposite - tons of fans here & elsewhere who picked them to finish last in NFC-E & have a very poor record.

Sure - there may be a few over-the-top fans who made bold, stupid predictions for the Redskins, but that is pretty true for all fan bases. Trust me - Skins fans have been burned enough in the recent past to act too cocky about anything. I just simply take a wait & see approach to this team at this time. So far it has been OK, but I have no real high hopes for the season - I will enjoy whatever success occurs which may not be that much - we will see.

Well, I will say there are a handful of cowboys fans on here that get awfully sensitive if you dare to visit their team board and post even the slightest of ribbing/tongue-in-cheek/banter in their direction

I think that some folks may state Redskins since that board is pretty active & consists of a lot of opinions. With that setup you are going to get extreme opinions that are both positive & negative. Quite a few of the other team boards are pretty much dead or used very little. You would probably get a better take on fans of these teams by going to a forum that is dedicated to that team.

BTW - in the real world it would be hard to call Skins fans delusional when their home crowds are now very disappointing. No more guaranteed sellouts, tons of empty seats for first game & what looked like a Packers home game yesterday at FedEx. This in spite of the fact that the team is 2-1 now (hardly a reason to wear bags over their heads).
