Stockton but on a better team?
Did Stockton ever win an MVP? Curry has, and at this rate he's winning another this year.
It's an interesting process, when your favorite player is THE GUY and then inevitably is replaced by THE NEW GUY. My Kobe-lovin' friends were still insisting LeBron wasn't THE GUY yet even when he got to Miami. He was. Now Curry has passed LeBron definitively (only just this year, and I'm taking nothing away from LeBron who's awesome and an all time great and a unique pleasure to watch play), and LeBroniacs are having some feels about it.
He wont ever win Finals MVP. So there is no discussion here.
'barely', 'almost', & 'close' don't mean shit in sports.barely winning twice
I know I'm stating the bloody obvious here, but considering that Lebron has been to the finals 6 times and barely winning twice, it is really stupid to be comparing his career to Stephan Curry who has barely started his as an elite player. You really have to give him time to see what he can do, but he only has to win more title to have equal the prizes that Lebron really wants(and won't get any more of)
In one of those two wins - Yes, but in the other one against the Spurs as I recall it took a miracle shot made by Ray Allen who most like prayed to Mary and said "hail Mary the mother of God) and then got his prayer answered. Subsequently - the nearly had only one championship and barely two. It happens - I have seen very few teams that won only on talent and didn't get lucky somewhere. And I still think Lebron should have finished his career in Miami win or lose(not that his matters in this particular discussionMiami dominated OKC. How did they barely win that series?
Go tell that to Doc Rivers who is still bitching about the Lakers last win over the Celtics'barely', 'almost', & 'close' don't mean shit in sports.
barely winning = winning
almost winning = losing
