Heat attendance was mediocre in 2009 and 2010 when the team was struggling. Pretty poor 2004 and earlier as well.

Florida fans in general don't show up unless the team is winning. I remember Heat teams back in the Mourning era even having playoff games with empty seats. Atlanta has a similar history.

in 2009 and 2010 the Heat were middle of the pack in attendance not 27th like the Cavs and that included a 15 win season. You can pull the numbers from the 15 win season on ESPN. Miami was 18th in attendance.. not 27th like Cleveland.

My overall point wasn't Miami has the best fans in the NBA. Very few fan bases fill a stadium to watch horrible teams. My point was Miami has better fans than they are given credit for and Cleveland has a bunch of shit fans, and are given credit as being diehards when it is the exact opposite.

Miami was one of 9 teams with 100% attendance this season. That is pretty awesome.

I'll be surprised if that remains for next season.

Every sports team has an attendance that correlates strongly to team success. That's not an indictment on a fan-base... that's just consumers being savvy.

Yea, I am not sure Miami stays at 100% this season.

I wasn't comparing to Cleveland, just talking about the Heat's numbers.

If he had stayed in Cleveland, he would have been still ringless.

Cannot beat 2011 Mavs alone
Cannot beat 2012 Thunder alone
Cannot beat 2013 and 2014 Spurs alone
Cannot beat 2015 and 2016 Warriors alone
