Yet, that is precisely what this proposal from Roger Goodell puts forth. Pick a lane.

Head to Head funny enough isn't as predictive as people think it is. Ask the Rams when they beat the 49ers in the NFCCG. H2H is meant to be a tiebreaker, and not a primary means of determining standing until the postseason for good reason. This is lame as hell.

Settle what? It's the most minor of inconveniences. Both teams still make the playoffs and win their division. So it screws with seeding a bit- so what? The captains and coaches had to have known that having this happen in Week 17 was going to be difficult to reschedule, and loss of the game was a likely consequence of not resuming play after Hamlin went down.
