I would always go with MJ unless it was made ridiculous like MJ and me versus Kobe and KD. But I would like the SG and Center combo versus two shooting/point guards/forwards.

Kobe/KD. It's the only combo that isn't era-dependent, have a foul shooting issue, or a defensive liabilities.

MJ and Giannis. It would need shooting on the rest of the team to fill out the roster. Those 2 provide all-time defensive ability, and while 3 is lacking the scoring for them is not a concern. Outside of that Giannis is only 26, I am not sure we have seen his peak yet.

Kobe and KD would be my 2 as they provide near the same level defense, but they don't need anything added for the shooting.

Not that any of them would be bad, but like pair Jokic and Magic with scorers, rather than each other.

wasn't sure the criteria but they are my choice, as well.......whether this would be for 2 on 2 games, to start the team, etc. Neither might be the best in all these categories but they can both shoot outside or in, play D (Durant 1-5, Kobe 1-4), drive.

Yes, clearly.

Kobe and KD are both top 5 (probably top 3) all time wing scorers. Magic and Jokic can score, but they are both elite distributors. Giannis and MJ are a bit of a weird fit too.

Giannis is a difficult fit period. He has been known to be ball dominant, but not very effective from the perimeter or the foul line. He's a huge athletic and defensive talent, but still a work in progress.
