sty , the skins used lots of read option plays to help Rg3 get adjusted and it worked to a point until his body began to fail him . he wasnt mishandled

his diva attitude is the huge cause to all of his failures .

His diva attitude is a big part of the problem for the second year. He wanted to be thrust into being a pocket passer immediately when he wasn't prepared to do that. Ultimately, that's on Shanny because he's the boss. But realistically, that's on RGIII since he had the pull to swing things that way. In the third year (Gruden's first year), it's really on both, but a lot of it's on Gruden who wanted to do things his way without any regard for shaping the offense around your QB's strengths and away from his weaknesses. In the end, Robert has most of the fault in this, but Gruden shared a lot of it last year. He was an imperious jacksass that had frequent meltdowns in post-game pressers and really looked like he lacked the gravitas for being a head coach in the NFL.

if i am an HC and i had to put up with his attitude plus watching him be a disgrace as a qb even on basic things i would have dressed him down too

Not in public you don't, and certainly not like that. Gruden acted like a petulant Roman Emperor yanking RGIII and Cousins when he was instantly unsatisfied with them. Hopefully, he's learned something from his rookie HC season.

I am hoping he does it too. Being an NFL coach is one of the hardest jobs in the world and any first year guy will have some growing pains and a learning curve.
