What are your concerns going into this draft?

One other thing I'm afraid of - a player who has no business sliding to 17 (say Malik Hooker)... slides to 17, and we let him slide some more. Ya gotsta take advantage when other teams fubar in front of you.

1. We take a QB in the first 4 rounds thinking that will give us some type of leverage with Kirk. We have none and all that will do is push Kirk further away.

2. We place too much stock in character. Let me give you guys some names.
L. Taylor
D. Manley
J. Crowder
E. Elliott
C. Newton
D. Marino....we all know why he fell.

For every Lawrence Phillips and A. Hernandez, there are the guys listed above who live on the edge, but ball out on Sundays and in some cases end up in the Hall of Fame.

In the end I want football players, it doesn't hurt if they have good character. That usually show's itself on the field too. Give me a Sweetness any old day. Riggo was a raging beer disposal-bot, and at times a hot head. But he was otherwise a choir boy.

Joe T. on the other hand got more ass than a toilet seat at Taco Bell.

Neither would pass the character test of Todays NFL.

At the end of the day, some one is going to take a shot on these questionable character guys, because they are too talented in most cases not to. Just not sure if we need to be that team to take one of these guys at 17. After all, Washington breeds trouble to an extent, not intentionally.. but it happens all the same.

Agree on all counts shark. I am not saying we should not draft anyone in particular. Not my job to do that. I am cautioning in today's NFL things are different. LT doesn't get away with his antics either do any of the others mentioned. I am no choirboy myself so I don't want to pass judgement other than to say buyer beware.

I think I just did a survey similar to this.
My biggest concern starts with our starting QB, are we trading him draft night or are we drafting Webb since contrary to what experts say, Tribusky and Watson will be gone by 17. There is no way the organization tags Cousins and does nothing to mess him up mentally this year for not budging with the contract.

--My next concern is if QB isn't taken at 17, the 'skins will do something extremely stupid at 17
Like draft Corey Davis because he has been compared to Terell Owens.
(this is with top ILB, RB, OLB, DT prospects STILL there)

Next NT gets addressed in the 5th round again.

Finally, the 'skins pull off some great trade up or down, similar to the David Johnson situation and totally MISS
out on a gamechanger in the 2nd or 3rd round.(sorry Scott)
