Good signing by the Flames. I like it and I don't think the price is unreasonable at all. Hudler is a solid 20/30 guy and he was a stud for a portion of last season when he had strong linemates.

Every year the cap goes up, salaries are going to go up. I think we get stuck in a box sometimes as fans with what a good salary is and we use previous years as a barometer when it doesn't make sense.

i actually think i undervalued hudler.. i was kinda thinking of him in a 3rd/4th line shutdown role.. didnt realize he had 25 goals last year
