It's nice see that you recognize KC's performance. You are right on both counts. The defense was elite and KC did have a great game. There is no reason why KC can't play like this for us the majority of the time. Those of us the have been labeled KC lovers recognize that he has the ability to play like this and have always said to use our resources to build up the rest of the team. When we have a balanced attack, KC is as good as it gets (almost). You could search for decades (we have) and not find another that would do better. The key is to keep KC in situations where he shines. Gruden has done a great job the last 2 games of doing just that.

They weren't gashing the raiders with big runs but sticking with the run is what this team needs to do. Kirk throwing 40 + times a game isn't a winning formula. Keep running and playing good D and let Kirk do his thing when needed. 53 guys is what it takes.

Oh and find someone else to field punts......

I agree that is Crowders 2nd fumble on punt returns.

I will disagree with finding a different PR, for now. We have to find ways to give JC the ball.

As for sticking with the run, it is a lot easier with our defense playing this way.

Yes Crowder needs to be more involved in the offense. Crowder is starting to scare me on PR. Why does he jump to catch the ball? Has anyone seen this? If a fumble happens again on a fair catch they seriously should think about a change.

Bottom line is two weeks in a row the offensive and defensive lines have dominated and that's why they won both games

I disagree, crowder was awesome in this role last year. Your saying if he muffs a third punt to relieve him of his duties? No, he's human, he will shore it up, we all know he's a good player, he will adjust and be fine. I would rather him find a way to get his confidence back in this area, maybe drill him for like an hour at practice, we've seen him do well at catching punts before and we will see it again.

Yes but there are mental blocks for players. That is why sport's psychologists exist.

We can't afford to have muffed punts. It is the most damaging play in football.

Yea I agree about the most damaging play in football, because it's a momentum changer. I don't know what a sports psychologist would say but I think relieving him of his duties as a punt returner only hurts his confidence, not helps.

Now from the team's perspective, if we would have lost this game because of his muffed punt, then yes sports psychologist would help, because that would be demoralizing. I guess I'm a little less concerned because we won the game and could afford this to happen. Hopefully he fixes it before it becomes a real issue and we lose games because of it, I personally think he will.

Might be worth a shot to give duties over to Maurice Harris for a game. See what he can give us.

I am thinking no for Harris. He isn't a PR.
He's done some and hasn't looked half bad. I remember reading about him as a potential option somewhere, I'll look for it.

I saw that same thing. I just don't see him as elusive.
Hmmm, fair enough. I don't see what you lose by giving him some snaps in practice to see what you might have.
