To make that great comeback and force the OT, only to lose it then.....even a tie would have in sense been a moral victory of sorts........**sigh**

Two plays that ultimately haunted us. The opening drive pick 6 by Daniel and who woulda thunk the longest pass play of the day would be thrown by OBJ.

Well let's look at the bright side. At least the Packers season is over. And while we're at it, let's pull big time for the Pats this afternoon.

At a loss for words right now...….This game most likely be a different story if MT was in there, but he wasn't.
But our D was there for the full game and we couldn't stop Barkley nor OB for that matter...…
Where was Burton at...…?...……..He was a no show.
Great game, but damn the last drive in OT was a killer......3 fumbles on one drive...……...wtf?

And if by chance the Vikes lose, well at least they won't have gained any ground on us. But to think with a W for us and with them losing, this division would have been all but wrapped up.

That's a big plus after a day like today...….And on another side note.......GB is finished :dhd:.

This loss is on Nagy. Sure, Daniel played awful, but that shit going into halftime is unacceptable.

I also would've gone for two and the win there at the end. After the craxy chances of getting the onsides and tying it up with 1:15 to go..on the road, in a game that you fucked yourself three ways til sunday, i think you go for the win going away there.

Nagy blew this game twice. One by not starting Mitch and two by not staying with the run game. Howard was on fire. Rookie coach that learns from his mistakes I can live with. Nagy is gonna be a great coach.

I hope the Bears win their division and pull off an upset in the playoffs, i.e. beating either the Saints or Rams

Yeah...That sucked.

The question I keep asking myself is "If Mitch was a veteran quarterback, would he have played this game?"

I feel the answer is yes....which makes me want to kick Nagy in the nuts.

We sucked today...

The D of all units with a huge letdown, allowing them to go down the field in OT. That was horribly disappointing.

I thought they'd get a stop and we'd go down to kick the GW FG

This is what we get for resting guys who could probably play because "we should win anyway"

Seemed like the first time all year they actually ran something similar to zone blocking schemes for him. Line going one way and him cutting back against it, as opposed to running him straight into the fucking pile.

Nagy's biggest mistake was the clock management going into the half. Absolutely fucking retarded, and it cost us 3 points that never ever in a million years should have been possible for the Giants. That ends up being a massive momentum killer, and ostensibly a 10-point swing, with them scoring on their opening possession of the 2nd half.

I felt that killed em'. Coming off two huge sacks, sitting in a great position to get the ball back with a minute to go...3rd and 23...let's let the clock run 40 seconds off, and then call a timeout with 17 seconds left. Dumb, dumb dumb. So dumb.

Yeah, that was bad and I was getting laughed at for suggesting that FG was a big deal.

It was a HUGE deal. Especially since they had zero business even being close to scoring. 3rd and 23 from their own 36, with 52 seconds to play....coming off two monster sacks...there is zero logic in running it down to 17 seconds and then calling timeout. It was stupid af. One of the worst instances of clock and game management I've ever seen.

It's amazing when you think about it. Four losses by a cumulative 14 points. When it's all said and done, this might go down as the Bears woulda-coulda-shoulda season.

Minnesota having to go to Seattle has me believing that we'll be okay. However, we have pissed away our chances at a first-round bye. Absolutely let that ball slip through our fingers.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The biggest reason I was pulling for the Chiefs in their game against the Rams was the possibility of garnering a 1st round bye, being we have a game against them. Now, even if we win out and grab the division crown, we're almost guaranteed having to play in the opening round. Of course I'm not counting my chickens yet on all this, something I might have started doing had we won yesterday's game. But we still have a (1) playoffs to clinch, hopefully by (2) winning the division outright. Lotta work ahead.

Something tells me that last game n 12/30 could decide the division. This team isn't good enough to afford to lose games against teams like the Giants.

Buddy, you're preaching to the choir. That was a game we should have won.

That was a game the Bears had no business winning but still had a chance to at the end. The fact that they forced to OT was a miracle given all the mistakes throughout the game. Hell it started on the opening kickoff that was fumbled giving the Bears bad starting field position which then led to the pick 6 only 2 plays later.

Booger Eater had the 2 picks to go along with 4 fumbles. Luckily all were recovered but my god.

Can't wait to get Trubisky back
