I agree somewhat, but how about we get a defense that doesn’t put the offense in a hole with every first drive of a game?

Yeah that too, but keep in mind in two games this year Washington has deferred after winning the coin toss.

Already given up 400+ yards, the Bills are 8/11 on 3rd dn. Beasley and Sanders are a combined 16 receptions on 17 targets.. Allen is straight clownin. Only had to punt once.

Almost everyone here agreed that this team had to rely on their defense to win this year, with at least one exception. Most, also agreed that this was not a version of the vaunted Bears or Ravens teams of yesteryear. Considering the NFL today, how exactly was that going to work?

The offense hasn't looked a whole lot better. Take away Gibson's TD and they have 76 yards passing, 48 yards rushing, 3 turnovers and are 1/7 on 3rd dn. Just a shameful performance all the way round.
