So lets look at this a different way than your normal 17 times a day post.

If duckfoot doesn't miss the FG early game over.
If Allen doesn't fumble .... WTF still ahead.
If Allen doesn't throw INT ... probable win with the Skins going away.

Would I have done what RR did going for two? No. But making the extra point doesn't guarantee a win. If they got it he would have been a hero.
The team fought, they played well enough to win except for a couple of mistakes.. They fought back more than once.

I see several excuses but that is normal for us as Skins fans.

RR made the decision to trade for Allen
RR made the decision to start Allen over Haskins

At some point, we need to hold RR accountable.

True but they could of played it safe and went into OT. The point is it wasn't the game winner. Its a horrible call and gamble. It wasn't the last paly of the game.

First of all, 40 w and two time outs isnt enough for an 0-5 team to go down the field and get in position to kick a winning fiels goal unless.... they are playing the WFT.

I mean, it isnt like Daniel Jones is Russel Wilson, or Aaron Rodgers, or Mahomey, etc.

He’s a average quarterback on a terrible team.

Allen looked “not good enough” against a previously winless team. Think about that.

RR should have kicked the PAT, and made the Giants go down the field. That’s what he should have done, unless he was tabking on purpose.

In that case, go for 2, protect Terry Mac, protect Gibson and Scherff, play other youngsters or vets, and tank for one of the qbs - clemson or oher guy (I dont follow college football).

in a tie game they wouldn't of pressed it. Its a bad call b/c it wasn't the game winning play. RR threw the defense right under the bus. I agreed with him with the benching of DH but this call was awful.

Yes the giants could of gotten 35 yards with 2 TO's to setup a game winning FG. Gano has a huge leg. RR put the offense in a bad position in that 2 point call. It wasnt the game winner so it shouldn't of been attempted. Say what you want about Allen but he responded after the turnovers. I dont understand why football logic goes out the window if you are playing a winless team.

I tried saying he wasn't a good coach. We are actually now the worst team in the NFL. He has made it worse.
If we keep this up, I say we fire him after the season, hire a GM and target the Bills OC. This team is regressing actually.

I liked the move to Allen but this 2 point call was horrible.

For what it is worth I just listened to Logan Paulsen on my way home and he said although Allen made two big mistakes he gives the team a better chance to win. He did not use this term but he said Haskin's is CDC Jr. He plays too safe. When he didn't play safe he threw three picks. It is the same guy I saw play Penn State two years ago.

Still I do not think the future QB is on the team .... or I should say I hope not.
