This could've gone either way, but I think that the league did look at previous groin shot suspensions and decided it wasn't the same. The Wade, Harden, Smart, Schroder and Dahntay Jones incidents didn't involve a guy in the act of shooting.

True. I wonder if he did it because the energy required to defend him takes too much away from Klay's offense? I agree that they should give Iggy a shot at him. He was able to slow Lebron last year. Maybe he can do the same with Westbrook.

Livingston gives him problems, but I wouldn't want to bet the series on Livingston defending Westbrook.

I think the fact that Klay defended RW very well in game 1 and still was able to make an impact on offense was remarkable and is why he's so special and IMO the best 2 way guard in the league. He just doesn't get enough credit for his defense.

But, we won't know for sure how it would affect his offensive game if he was asked to do it the entire series. And I couldn't agree more about having Livingston on RW for too long. He isn't as locked in defensively as Klay & Iggy. But, I think if Klay covered him the majority of the time they could share the task between Iggy & Livingston. Now that I think of it Livingston on Waiters might be an even better idea.
