The game was really won & lost at the FT line.

OKC went 22 for 32.....and GS was just 11 for 17.

OKC was attacking. GS shot 30 3's and a lot of them were with a hand in the face or bad shots honestly. They were hoisting them up tonight.

There were lots of fouls that should have been called on OKC....but with that being said, the Dubs were also uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball in the 2nd half...and they seemed out of sync at times, especially on defense. I'm sure Kerr and his staff will make the needed adjustments for game 2 and beyond.

Instead of this thing being done in 5...the dubs will now have to win it in 6 or maybe 7.

I keep telling you guys that the Warriors haven't played anyone good in the playoffs..... Until now. Last year, they had 2 byes with New Orleans and Memphis, then they played Houston... A team who didn't even make the playoffs this year. In the finals, they played Cleveland, but Love and Kyrie were hurt and it was an easy series. If the Warriors win this series, they have finally beat someone. I will give them credit. It's about time we get to see them deal with some adversity and actually play a good opponent.

It's 2 vs 10. OKC is a pretty good team but they're definitely missing some key pieces. Where's the 3 point specialist. A nice PG off the bench that can play alongside Westbrook down the stretch in the 4 qt.
His name is Dr. Dion

Cmon Dubs, don't take this too seriously. We want an interesting game, not a blowout!
Lol

okc playing a great game but lets see if the 4th Q slump hits them like it usually does.
Not in the playoffs

Like I said. I didn't know why the Thunder should even show up! Lol. The Thunder have now won 5 out of 6 playoff road games.

OKC totally outplayed GS and the scoreboard proved it. Giving up a 13 point lead at halftime is the all time playoff choke since 1953. Glad to see that the refs didn't give the game to GS like they did in a few of their previous wins.

If you look on the last page of the Spurs vs OKC thread, you will find the following:

People sitting here saying OKC can't compete with Golden State.

People said the same thing about OKC competing with the Spurs and look what happened.

That's why they actually play the games.

Yeah he cant guard Westbrook, that is a perfect match for Westbrook. He could score on him all day if he wanted. Just think who would have thought OKC could steal a game when Westbrook goes 7-21 and KD goes an eye-popping 10-30? Lol Not many people.

OKC played pretty good D in the 2nd half and rebounded well too
yah the Warriors have to figure out something else there.....Westbrook shredded Curry in that 3rd quarter....just ridiculous.

People are overreacting to 1 game as they always do. You would think the Warriors just got eliminated with the way some people on here are talking.

I still think that the Warriors are the favorites to win the series---- I think they will make adjustments and they without a doubt have the ability to win games in OKC....but at the very least its going to be a long series that hopefully taxes both teams.

Curry cant come close to guarding RW...they do need to make some adjustments to RW and OKC's size.

its a valid point though...this is really the first team GSW has played in the playoffs- this year or last year- who is healthy and a legitimate threat. Itll be interesting to see how they react.

1) There were very few people who expected a short series. Almost everyone expects this to go 6 or 7 games.

2) No reason for Curry to ever guard Russ. He should always guard Robertson or Waiters

3) GSW is noy going to adjust to OKC size and nor should they. The moment they adjust to OKC size and play Festus/Speights/Bogut late in the game over Iggy or Barnes is when they lose this series. They have to continue playing their style of basketball but just need to play smarter and more efficiently

I just hope it goes 7 and Steph Curry has to play as many minutes as possible...maybe an OT game or two...while i also hope the Cavs finish off the Raptors quickly- in what i think will LIKELY be a "Gentleman's Sweep"- all though i dont discount the chances of an ACTUAL sweep. I think we will see tonight.

If Toronto win's game 1 because the Cavs are rusty- the series goes 6.....if the Cavs win game 1, get their rhythm back....you can get out the brooms.

This is a pretty stupid statement. A home team winning game 1 at home does not mean they're going to sweep. Pretty ridiculous comment

idk "a lot"...KD got hacked twice going to the hole and no call either...the turnovers in the 2nd half, and like any jump shooting team, some nights the shots are not going to drop and that's what happened last night. The worst call missed that I saw was the travel on Westbrook.

Westbrook imo was the best player on the floor last night...kid is a beast.

I just dont see the Cavs losing to a tired and injured Toronto team once they get going and get a little momentum.

Toronto's big men are Bismack Biyombo and Patrick Patterson. Do i need to say anything else?

lets move it over thoguh.

I agree.....RW looks like he is on a mission...he looked hungrier than the Warriors and his PG counter part.

Certain Warriors fans tend to complain about the refs whenever they lose. Refs were not one sided. There were bad calls but both teams experienced it.

Also when one teams attempt 30 3's and another attempts 17 3's. Clearly the team with 17 is more aggressive and is likely to shoot more fts. Green is the only player on GSW who constantly attacks the rim

I picked GS in 7 in this one...thinking they have 3 legit scorers plus bench...OKC struck the 1st blow.

I'm oldschool NBA, inside out game, high post low post, pick and roll, etc....so the game was kind of a blur to me the way both teams were jacking it up from long range....admittedly they are good at it, but when you're off a little, this is what can happen. GS has almost no post game at all.

The OKC bigs...Adams in particular, factored in that game last night...interesting that KD played the entire 4th...I thought he was a little fatigued when he missed like 6 straight.

RW played great D, and carried OKC in the 3Q.

Game 1 in the books...looking forward to a GS answer in game 2.

Yep...Thompson will on occasion, Curry hovered around the 3 pt line a lot last night...look for both of them to attack the rim more to finish or create in game 2.

You cannot over-react too much to this one at all

Golden State played like complete and utter crap with almost arrogant dis-interest and disrespect

And they still were in a one possession game with 30 seconds

So did the Thunder lol. They just outrebounded them which I said could be the key in the series.
