He had 2 good shooting games in the last 5.He's been balling out most of the playoffs....
The Clippers have been the better team for most of the series.
They have had to overcome
a gut wrenching fluke loss in game 2
a blown call in game 4
And it has not fazed them yet
DOC RIVERS might get to watch the Clippers finally get to the Finals.
Whining about minutes.
He is 31. Not 36 or 37....LOL.
Yep. He's been good this playoffs which been my only point the last few weeks. Bad games will happen but this is not the same guy from his previous 3 post seasons
Well…not considerably enough. 9 shots. 10 points and the stream of Ayton overs dies. Sad day…Huge! I’m already on Ayton O 16.5 points. Chances of that happening have gone up considerably now.
The Suns have been pretty lucky all postseason, they have to win this series. Won’t have a better chance than nowSuns struggling bad against the Clippers without their best player. Just got to be thankful that Kawhi isn't available
Agree with this, especially now that I'm hearing Zubac is out...Clippers played great.
But Phoenix played dumb. There's zero reason why DeAndre Ayton shouldn't be dominating, especially in a game where the Clips stayed small most of the game. When he gets the ball, he's been good. Clippers can't do much with him. But its been this way all series. They keep trying to play thru Booker and Paul at all times no matter what. Playing thru them is fine and should be the first choice, but when things get mucked up, they need to start running the offense thru Ayton. Some of it is on Ayton who needs to be more aggressive (especially lacking this game) fighting for position early on in a possession, but its clear their gameplan isn't meant to feature him. It needs to
I don’t think the Suns took advantage of their matchup with Ayton well enough last night. Suns aren’t built to go small either. They need to involve Ayton in the offense every trip mostly through pick and roll. Ayton is limited as a post up offensive player right now.I don’t think Zubac actually helps the Clippers much at all.
They are better off going small.
