Wolves take this game by eleventy-billion points. A victory so massive that the Thunder organization disbands and SGA signs a 10-day contract with the wolves before the finals.

Wolves can’t expect a performance from the role guys that they got on Monday. Only path to victory I see is if Ant and Randle make up for their shitty games in game 4 and combine for somewhere between 55-65 points and that still may not be enough

At this point if I’m a fan of that team I’m really questioning Randle more than anyone.

To be fair he was actually playing really well this playoffs until the 2nd half of game 1 in this series and since then he turned into NYK playoffs Julius which is an awful player

Wolves may be in trouble in the offseason

NAW is a free agent
Naz got a player option for 15 mil. Got to expect him to opt out
Randle player option is at 30 mil. I think he opts out as well

He was in a 2/9 mil deal lol what a steal

If I’m him then I’m looking for close to 15 per year after that bs deal was on
He should get a Dort like contract, 15-18 a year

Everyone always trying to get the Lakers players. This guy should be at the top of their list.

Plus Conley is likely to retire. Dillingham in year 2 is going to need to be ready for significant minutes. Shannon looks like he is likely to fill out the NAW spot, but that is a clear downgrade. Clark showed some real potential in his play this season 2. He would bring same defense as NAW, but none of the offense.

If both Randle and Reid opt-out the Wolves can likely resign Reid, but that leaves them in a pretty desperate spot for depth. 16 and 31 picks in the draft can also fill out some of the needs.

I don't see any scenario where the wolves roster improves, but enough of their stockpiled projects start to pan out they can keep it relatively close I think.

No they can’t.

But I expect OKC will come in with a similar defensive game plan to slow down Ant and Randle.

The fact that he was just a salary cap throw in for trading Russell is crazy. By far the best trade of the current gm. Conley, NAW, the 31st pick in this draft plus don't have Russell on the team? Amazing trade

Randle absolutely dominated in the 2 rounds that teams went small ball. He also had a fantastic game 1 of this series. He is not the same player when he can't bully in the paint, Thunder shut gim down quick after game 1.

I would guess Naz and Randle are back with raises, but they have to keep an eye on that 2nd apron. NAW is a bit more up in the air since he could be an MLE guy. Otherwise, not many teams with cap space to steal players, but that 2nd apron is looming and some salary might need to be trimmed.

Yeah, I don't get the Lakers thinking on that. They could've cut out the middle man and received Conley and NAW. Pivoting for Russell must have been a nostalgia thing or something.
