It has been .3 as long as I can remember
Nope it was always .4 until recently

Wouldn’t yiu think some pretty intensive testing went into that to set that threshold? Maybe they just thought we would assume that lol.I want to see you show us how it can be done
In all seriousness I would love to know how they went from saying .4 had to be on the clock to get a shot off to randomly changing it to .3 a few seasons ago
Nope it was always .4 until recently
Ok
Well that is definitely not true
Because I clearly remember the Trent Tucker rule being discussed in the 90s.
It was .3.
Maybe they changed to .4 and changed it back?
But it was definitely .3.
Pretty sure when Derek fisher did it. It wasn’t .3 it was .4Ok

Which shouldn’t be possible to doThat doesn’t mean it can’t be done in .3
And Fisher caught the ball with his back to the basket.
Which shouldn’t be possible to do
I am seeing where the NBA did studies and they also used European league and FIFA data because they had been recording tenths of seconds for long periods of time back then.Well, he did it. So it is obviously possible.
If he can catch and shoot with his back to the basket in .4, that kind of proves that a straight up catch and shot is possible in .3.
I recall some discussion after Fisher's 0.4 shot. Could've sworn I heard commentators saying the Lakers would have had to go for a tip in had there been 0.1 less.Ok

You got your finals pick mapped out?Nope it was always .4 until recently

Unfortunately I agree. Neither of the East finalists stand much of a chance. The Pacers don't have the defense and the Knicks rely too much on comebacks. I don't see OKC making the same mistakes Boston made since they have more of a gameplan outside of jacking up threes.Thunder in 4

Not that unlikely though. I suspect it will be a 5 game gentleman’s sweepHe is joking
